Secor's "The High Sierra: Peaks Passes and Trails", published by the Mountaineers of Seattle, WA, is an invaluable guide for hiking and climbing in the Sierra Nevada. It covers the range from the Whitney region in the south to the northern region of Yosemite National Park. The book is available through Amazon.com and other vendors.
